Welcome to O.L.S.

The Rashidy family has been in the field of education for over fifty years. Mr Hussien El Rashidy started the Orouba educational institutions in 1960 with Orouba Language School in Dokki. IGCSE was added in 1992. Orouba Language Schools use the Egyptian curriculum. We follow the Egyptian Ministry of Education in all subjects from Nursery to grade 12. Moreover, high level English is given starting from nursery whereas high level French is given starting from 2nd Primary.

Each year O.L.S. organizes many on-campus activities which are designed to serve as community building activities and as means of further communication between students, parents and teachers in a relaxed and supportive environment within the campus grounds.

We believe that our school’s primary task is to build a life-long love of learning and a sense of responsibility towards our community. This is achieved through our educational programs which are designed to develop the understanding, skills and attitudes that support this philosophy.

School trips come in all forms and sizes. From half-day drives to the local park to a camping trip out of the city. Field trips present a way for teachers to approach knowledge in a completely different way and for kids to have fun while learning.
